I grew up in a small town in NSW, Australia eating a standard Australian diet where meat was the focus of every meal. This way of eating carried on as I went through university and into my early twenties.
As I started to expand my mind out of the little bubble I was living in, I began to understand that my actions have consequences… What? Crazy I know! I started to do some research and became obsessed with learning about nutrition. I had always loved cooking but I found a new love for it as I started to experiment with different ingredients and cooking methods. After years of living a somewhat over-indulgent lifestyle, I quickly come to realise what a truely wasteful and immoderate world we live in, and immediately we began to change the way I lived to become more in tune and aware of the impact that we all have on the planet. I saw and felt the effects of eating plant based both mentally and physically and grew more and more passionate about plant based nutrition and cooking.

In my time as a coach, I’ve continued to leave no stone unturned in the quest to be the best coach and athlete I possibly can be which has seen me coach a full roster of world class athletes right through to first timers in the gym.
I love being a human and exploring the potential of our bodies through training and nutrition.

My nutrition skill-set was born out of necessity when I moved to Malta on my own while training for the 2008 Olympic Games.
I had very little experience cooking and meal prepping and I had a low budget to work with so my style of meal prep revolves around being budget and time friendly while providing nutritionally dense meals.

I knew it would be a good machine because I investigated it before but I was not really ready for how much power it has - it is AMAZING! You can add minimal liquid and the consistency of a smoothie will be absolutely perfect (but always add a little!) and I hadn't done such a creamy smoothie is AGES! I do them everyday and just with one single use of this machine I noticed that 1-the time spent doing it was much less, 2- the final result is amazing and 3- more capacity and doesn't leak at all. I’m the creator behind Cook Vegetarian. I live in Adelaide, South Australia but was born in Moscow, Russia. I grew up in central Moscow, and studied Finance and worked in a big Russian bank for 8 years.
I became vegetarian in 2012. Since I was a teenager I noticed that meat was harder to digest and my body felt completely different after having fruit or vegetables. So I slowly started to cut down on animal products and include more plant-based foods into my diet. My full transition took me two years. When I moved to Australia in 2015, I began to take pictures and share what I eat as a vegetarian on my Instagram page, showcasing my passion for cooking, food and photography.
My goal was to help and to show others how a vegetarian diet can be healthy and delicious at the same time, without sacrificing taste or hurting animals.

Prior to this blender I was using a (much more expensive) Vitamix but I had so many issues with recurrent error codes! The froothie is simple to use and I've never had any issues getting it started. It blends frozen ice and fruit amazingly well and the narrow jug design means it is able to reach all of the mixture easily (my Vitamix used to miss bits!). I also love the suction caps that keep the base stable. Would highly recommend."

The Optimum Mamma Mia is such a versatile little kitchen helper that it makes preparing meals so much easier. Being a busy family woman living right in the centre of Melbourne CBD, I love that the Mamma Mia doesn't take up much countertop space.
It is not just a pasta maker but also a juicer, grater, slicer and meat grinder. My son enjoys eating homemade chicken and veg meatballs with his spaghetti so I could easily whip out a delicious and nutritious meal for him in no time using this nifty kitchen helper.
Making cold press juice and frozen treats is extremely easy too - just swap out the pasta parts with the juicer parts. I can definitely say that I could prepare a healthy, yummy meal from appetiser to dessert for my family using the Optimum Mamma Mia.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this machine as it made my life so much more efficient. I have been using the Mamma Mia for over 6 months and I still enjoy using it.
Cleaning is not challenging either even though there are many parts (not many if only use 1 type). If you use the pasta maker, meat grinder, slicer and juicer all in one preparation then there may be quite a few to wash. Just give them a good rinse and remove any leftover pulp or particles stuck in the openings before chucking them into the dishwasher.
I would recommend it to anyone who wants to save countertop space, looking for a machine that does everything or someone who is busy with life but still wants to make homecooked meals just like myself."

I'll explain where it comes from. I grew up with an always cooking father and mother so my passion for cooking did not come from a stranger but it developed with me a little later. Initially I wanted to lose some weight and then I started with Sonja Bakker, which I didn't last long.
Then the Dukan diet came, and I was successful with that. And that's where creativity started in the kitchen. I became more and more interested in what exactly food does to your body and since I was recovering from a major burn out at the time. Although I was diagnosed with CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) at the time, I was very interested in what nutrition could really do good for me. In addition, I like to see people in my environment becoming more and more enthusiastic about healthy food because I hardly talk about anything else.
That is why I started my own blog in March 2015. The recipes I post are my own. Or found elsewhere but put my own spin on it. Usually because I either don't have everything at home or because I personally like it more. In addition, I like variety and my brain never stops when it comes to food! Due to my enormous passion for healthy food, I started the weight consultant training at Sonnevelt Training B.V. in 2016. I obtained my diploma in 2017 and I am still far from finished learning! I started my clientele, Slim Gezond. And following additional courses to further expand my knowledge. I have been in the world of cooking since I was little, scampering around the family restaurant at the age of two, I learned a lot from watching grandma and my dad.
The vegan choice, made in 2005, introduced me to a new cuisine and a different way of combining combinations of ingredients, fruits, vegetables, spices and legumes.

After several years of diets that didn’t work I’ve started to just eat healthier, I explored different books and this helped me to discover new things and flavours. So now I try to make everything I love in a healthy way and you know what I love it!
I can take breakfast with cake, waffles, and pancakes! But on top I have built an Instagram community and met a lot of new people. This was the best thing that could happen to me on a mentally, physically and social way.
But hey I admit I also love to rebel once In a while with not-so-healthy desserts and as I’m creative I like to make cakes and be a cake designer.

Four years ago, when I created my Instagram Account, I was in dire need of a creative outlet. So, I started to share my recipes. At first, only with my friends and family, now with more than 3.500 other users.
In the beginning, I specialized in sweet pastries, hence the name Mikis Sweet Kitchen.
But lately, I am focusing more on healthy dishes.
I bake a lot without conventional sugar. For example, as a substitution, I use dates, apricots, or maple syrup to create my sweet and healthy snacks.

I am Eglantine or @Veganica_Paris, an adopted Parisian always looking for new adventures and vegetable flavors. I work in marketing for a large customer relations group, but cooking has always been a real passion and a moment of relaxation. I was already making yogurt cakes and pancakes with my grandmother when I was 3 years old! I created Veganica_Paris, my Instagram page 2 years ago, pushed by my relatives who wanted to find my recipes easily to redo them at home and it was a click, I loved preparing good little dishes and putting them in a scene to make them appetizing from the start.
As you may have guessed from my username, I cook plant-based and have been vegan for over 7 years. I became it overnight, after watching Cowspiracy (not very original, I know). Excluding animal products from my diet pushes me every day to be more creative and original in my creations. For many years, my eating habits consisted of frozen burritos, cafeteria food, and finishing off all the leftover donuts at work. Spending the time and energy to eat well felt daunting and out of reach. In my work as a physician, I was regularly counselling patients to improve their eating habits. I was not practicing my own advice.
In 2020, when we were all quarantining during the early phases of the pandemic, I decided to go on an experimental diet. A plant based, whole food diet. I thought I'd last a week, maybe a month. I quickly realized that eating more fruits and vegetables had a noticeable impact on how I my body felt. I haven't looked back since. How we eat is deeply personal and connected to our social lives and changing these habits is hard.
My goal is to show the world that adding a few more plants into life can be easy, affordable, and enjoyable.
"I've had this blender for 2 months. My comparison is to the Ninja (3 blade) blender. I also grew up around VitaMix Blenders as well. So far this blender has worked great!
The main take away for me is how smooth my smoothies are, seriously. With Ninja, I always had seeds of un-blended fruit that I had to chew or just swallow. With the Optimum, the texture is very delightful! Hardly any seed texture at all. It pulverizes everything.
I have also made hummus and tahini and salsas. I've blended cooked sweet potatoes and cashews to make a yummy pasta topping. I haven't tried making dough or blending my own wheat. Maybe will need to post another update at that time. So far it has handled everything I have given it.
The interface does take a little getting used to. It is much more automated than any other blender I've used before. I have grown to really like the timer feature. The automated smoothie setting is my most used feature (the blender essentially fluctuates speeds for 10-20 seconds to make sure everything gets chopped up, then goes to high for like 30-40 seconds). It does an incredible job!
Overall this is a comparable product to a VitaMix type blender and it supersedes the Ninja blender by a lot. It just functions at a much higher caliber!"
